Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus was the name of several Roman politicians:

  • Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus (consul 192 BC); elected to office despite the efforts of Scipio Africanus to bring in his candidates.
  • Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus (consul 122 BC); possibly grandson of the consul of 192 BC.
  • Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus (consul 96 BC) (d. 88 BC), son of the previous; became tribune 104 BC, Pontifex Maximus in 103 BC; he was then elected consul 96 BC, and censor 92 BC (with Lucius Licinius Crassus), both resigning their offices.
  • Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus (consul 32 BC) grandson of the previous; was a supporter first of Julius Caesar, then of Caesar’s assassins (of whom Brutus was his cousin), then of Mark Antony and finally of Octavian. His maternal uncle was Cato the Younger.
  • Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus (consul 32) (d. 40 AD) grandson of the previous; he was a consul under Tiberius; closely related to the Imperial Family, he was the first husband of Agrippina the Younger and fathered the Roman Emperor Nero.
