Blood of Vol | Favorites Vol.

In the Eberron campaign setting for the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, the Blood of Vol is a lawful evil cult that reveres the ancient traditions of the elven line of Vol. A subsect of the group, the Order of the Emerald Claw, is devoted to serving Erandis d’Vol, the Queen of the Dead and last scion of House Vol. Cultists exist on Khorvaire, Aerenal, and Xen’drik. They see undeath as a path to divinity, and are fascinated by the literal and figurative meanings of blood. They invoke negative energy and manipulate bloodlines to achieve their goals. Despite the cult’s overall evil alignment, there are many good-aligned members, who revere the undead as self-sacrificing champions in the war against death. The cult’s domains are Death, Evil, Law and Necromancy, and the favored weapon is the dagger.


Vol

Vol, or Erandis d’Vol, is the last member of House Vol, and carries the thirteenth dragonmark: the Mark of Death. She is the daughter of an elf mother — the matriarch of House Vol — and a green dragon father. When her existence became known, both elves and dragons came together to destroy the half-dragon abomination and the House of Vol. To save her daughter - and the family bloodline - The matriach turned Erandis into a lich just before she was killed herself. Howevever, becoming a Lich caused Vol to lose access to the power of her dragonmark, which she seeks to restore.

The sacraments of the living are five of the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church which are classified as such because their chief purpose is to give more grace to the souls already spiritually alive through sanctifying grace.

The Sacraments


Holy Eucharist

The Holy Eucharist brings the fulness of spiritual life through the grace of Christ. This is the central sacrament from which or to which all other sacraments flow.


Confirmation

Confirmation seals the graces of Baptism, thus filling the recipient with full gifts and graces of the Holy Spirit.


Anointing of the Sick

Anointing of the Sick gives the recipient the grace needed to overcome illness and return to a fulfilling Christian life.


Holy Orders

The Holy Orders gives the graces necessary to lead the lay peoples of the Church and fully live out the vocation of priesthood.


Matrimony

Matrimony gives two people the grace needed to live together in harmony and raise Christian children.


Not Included


Baptism

Baptism is not included because it is the sacrament believed to first bring spiritual life.


Reconciliation

Reconciliation is not included because it restores spiritual life to those who have died spiritually through sin.

    A Christmas Gift of Love | Christmas

    A Christmas Gift of Love was an album released in 2002 by singer and songwriter Barry Manilow. As Manilow’s second compilation of Christmas songs, the album did quite well, and went Gold. Oddly enough, the album was done with Columbia Records instead of his usual label of Concord Records. However, as part of the agreement with Concord, the logo of both labels appear on this release.

    A Day in the Life of Donald Duck | Disney

    A Day in the Life of Donald Duck is a 1956 episode of the Disneyland TV show. As the name of the episode implies, viewers experience Donald Duck himself as he struggles through a typical day at the Walt Disney Studios. In the process, he meets up with Jimmie Dodd, Roy Williams, the Mouseketeers and even his own voice and alter ego, Clarence Nash himself. This episode introduces a catchy new song about Donald, “Quack, Quack, Quack, Donald Duck.” This episode was released on DVD in 2005 as a bonus feature in the Walt Disney Treasures line.

    A Day in the Life of Donald Duck | 2004 Disney

    A Day in the Life of Donald Duck is a 1956 episode of the Disneyland TV show. As the name of the episode implies, viewers experience Donald Duck himself as he struggles through a typical day at the Walt Disney Studios. In the process, he meets up with Jimmie Dodd, Roy Williams, the Mouseketeers and even his own voice and alter ego, Clarence Nash himself. This episode introduces a catchy new song about Donald, “Quack, Quack, Quack, Donald Duck.” This episode was released on DVD in 2005 as a bonus feature in the Walt Disney Treasures line.
